Just talked to Shipwreck Tours - todays dives did get cancelled. But, forecast is for better conditions by morning.

Just got back from Munising. Despite 32* temps on the drive over there, the weather was great in Munising, bit of a breeze, tho.

We went out to the Smith Moore, about 1' waves there. Could not go to the S. Selvick, reports of 8-10' there!

So, dove the Smith Moore, got down to 86', temp was about 55. A bit cloudy, so not much sun, so vis wasn't great it was pretty dark. But, had a good dive on it.

Then went to the Bermuda, 12 to 25' deep, and the sun came out, so great vis. Temp there was 60.

2 good dives despite the weather there had been up here the past couple days!

Ya'll missed a good time!

I heard the bridge was closed part of Friday and they were escorting trucks across one by one. Glad you were able to get some dives in. Sounds like a great time. Any pics or videos of the dive?

I got some pics on the Bermuda (yes, the camera DID stay in the housing this dive!). It was pretty dark on the Smith Moore, and all the photos there came out, surprise, real dark.

As for the bridge, I can believe it, it was fine when I drove over going up there on Thursday late afternoon. But, Friday and a little into Saturday the winds were pretty bad.
