How was the munising trip?

I'm still there;). So far it's been great. We did a night dive @ the Old Lumber Dock site behind the High School, did a dive on the Bermuda and the Kiowa. Still planning on doing the Selvic and the Smith Moore. Also snorkeled on the George. So far we have not sen water temps below 73* (yes, that is 73* at a depth of 30') Sure doesn't seem like Lake Superior. I,m sure that the water will be colder on the next dives.
Not everyone in the family dives, so I need to plan the diving arround other activities as well as the weather.

Any chance you'll still be up there labor day weekend?

Ken, I wish that I could stay here that long. Sadly, I have to go home on monday & return to work:depressed:.
I checked with Shipwreck Tours – Glass Bottom Boat | Explore the depths of Lake Superior and its sunken vessels and they said that they alays have plenty of room for extra divers. I'm hoping that we can get our own boat out & get in some more diving, but if the weather does not cooperate I have another option.
You may want to give them a call if you still need a buddy. I beleive that their rates are $75 & $110 for a 2 tank charter, depending on which trip you take.

Yes, I have already talked with them. Only get the small boat that weekend, big boat will be doing the glass bottom thing with the tourists. Good thing is, only takes 2 to reserve the boat. But, so far, they can't say for sure they'll have anyone wanting to dive on any particular day. So, I was hoping to get someone to join up with me so we can go ahead and charter the boat ahead of time. With just me, I can't do that!

I specifically discussed the 75 dollar trip, so I can confirm that one. What does the 110 get you?

Ken

Ken, The $110 trip gets you on the Kiowa (approx 27 miles up the coast) and the Selvic. I beleive that it also includes lunch but I,m not sure on the lunch thing.

I'll have to read up on those, and decided which way to go!

Thanks for the info!
