I just don't log dives
Greetings from the MUD club. We are a bunch of old time divers from the southwest corner of Michigan. Average age of our members is 40+ or (40++ for some) but we are looking for new younger members to keep the old guys on our toes. We dive year round with at least one planned dive every month. (We combine our December and January dives to start on New Years Eve and finish it on New Years Day.)

Our July outing is a camping / diving trip to the Thunder Bay Underwater Preserve in Alpena MI.

In September we will be headed to Cheyboygen MI to dive the old logging camp.

We would love to hook up with the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew. When is your next meet & greet?

If you are interested in more information, contact Jim Scholz @ jescholz@yahoo.com.

Welcome!
The next official meet-n-greet hasn't gotten into the planning stages yet but is usually in September. The summer is going by so quickly I'm sure someone will be starting the planning thread shortly.

You're always welcome to join any of us when we post dives here in this section. I will be taking a group to France Park in Logansport IN on July 15-16 and you're more than welcome to come along. I'm also hoping to put together a pumpkin carving dive October 28 at Gilboa and will be posting details on that on the board at a later date.

Feel free to post your dive plans in this section, you never know when some of the GLWC people are looking for a dive location/buddy.

Welcome to the board! Looking forward to getting a chance to meet you and your group!

Hi Betail,
Welcome to the forum,
Please post the dates for the Alpena trip and the Cheboygen trip. I am interested in joining you guys on either of them. I live in Chicago, and am always up for a reason to escape the city.
Also, if you have a website post it.
Safe Diving,
Robb
