Hey Guys,

Kelly and I were going to do a dive at Mt. Storm tonight and I was wondering what the water temps were. Are they still in the low sixties or have they come up due to the warmer air temps. I was hoping I could get by wearing my 5/3 mm wetsuit, any ideas?

Aquaman- whats the temp? I heard it was 75 now with good vis.

Nice video. I guess you are the reason I got swarmed by the catfish today while tying in the flag on the platform. I guess you stopped by the big red trailer, as I heard a couple reported 75 at the surface on Friday night. Looks like you had a good time with Mt Storm's sharks- hold a whole hot dog sometime, its fun. Sorry I missed seeing anyone, but we had our hands full with students, so none of us could have gone anywhere besides the 27' plats. Though 2 of us found one of the objects I mentioned, but didn't have time to find the larger one.....
Sunday May 13th
Water temp 73 at 30'
Vis 10-12
Very little current, light breeze- yep at Storm!, no surge.

It might be the reason. We always feed the catfish Krill since they are easy to bag up and feed by hand. I stopped by Scubaventures trailer friday night and dropped off my tanks then picked them back up on Sat morning. It is super nice getting an air fill right at Mt. Storm and not having to drive all the way too PA for air.

We are hoping to go to Dutch Springs this weekend and are planning a trip to Ft. Lauderdale for either late june or july. I have three dives booked in N.C. Outer Banks for July 4-11th when I am there with my family.

Glad things went well for you at storm.

Well,
I did say students right- I spent more of my time chasing them then diving. So, I wouldn't say it went well. It is always fun to see OW's expressions when you come in with doubles. Have fun in OBX-try to hit the Dixie Arrow(its usually a good shark dive). Who's boat are you on? If it is John and Amy's, tell Wells hi for me. Maybe I'll see you at storm, I'm there next Memorial weekend.
