. Also, a plastic bag is no good- the claws thing.

Ah don't worry about that I will gaffer tape the paws first and use a thick plastic bag with a 2Kg dive weight to provide some negative buoyancy ;)

Psychological profile of a Jr. serial killer, I believe, starts with torturing and killing cats.

Lots of information out there on Dogs. The world is dog-centic. Some dog breeds swim well, some- not so much.

Dogs break down into two main groups, the Working Dog and The Tossin' Dog (aka Hors d'Oeuvres)

With dogs, it is best to look for the ones with web toes. Dogs, because of their innate inferiorities, require SCUBA gear.

If the do not have web-toes, attaching the flippers is problematic because your only real options are Marine Goop or drywall screws.

Cats, on the other hand (or paw) can be selectively bred for specific activities. Here is a Cream Tabby Catfish in its natural environment.

And this, of course, is the much maligned Kitty Shark, as photographed in it's infested waters....

Dogs require mechanical contrivances. Cats can be selectively bred to thrive in any environment.

Or you can go the surgical route...

Show the cat some underwater videos of yummy little fish to get it motivated to learn . . .

But why post this question in the "Basic Scuba Discussions" forum? Shouldn't it be in the "Pet Diving" forum? :-)
