They look interesting, but they're expensive enough that I'd like to see some photo comparisons to the light output of an array of common dive lights, from LED-based Princeton Tec's to the UK Light Cannon HID.

I doubt they'll replace my 21w Salvo anytime soon, tho.

I bought a set, can't wait to try them. They did not turn out to be exactly what I was told by the company, though. The president told me that they would produce a 16" round circle from a distance of 10'.

Not even close. I measured a 16" circle from a distance of 26".

However, they lights are very bright, and let's face it, hands free. So I am sticking with them and will try them out on my AOW night dive in May.

OMS makes something similar. It's a head lamp OR goodman type OR BCD strap mounting style. For <$70 it's worth a look.
