As far as clubs in the DFW area... there are a lot of them. Each with their own personality. The biggest is the Scubadillo's. http://scubadillo.org/ And there is also another called Finz, another called Water Dogs. The Diving Rebels is out of the Arlington area (half way between Dallas and Ft Worth) and there is also the Reef Riders.

I've been a guest speaker and donated items for raffles for all these clubs, and I'm sure you'll find no shortage of folks that want to talk scuba and dive in the area. I invite you to come visit our store when you get in to town, we have brochures and newsletters from most the clubs on our counter. And if you need to do a quick dip in the pool, we have an indoor heated pool you can use as well.

Now we just have to teach you to say fixin' (usage: I'm fixin' to go diving) and y'all!
