Venice Beach would be one of the shore diving sites - where you can find shark teeth, including megs! I am sure others will charm in for more. If you want more info on Venice Beach shore diving, do the search on SB and you will find a lot of info.
I live in Sarasota and have several shore diving spots, after you get moved and settled send me a PM and we'll go dive.
