So long Toronto, I'll miss you (especially now that the Leafs are finally winning). San Diego, here I come. My diving has been limited to yearly trips to the Caribbean, but with access to an ocean (finally), I am really looking forward to much more frequent use of all this gear I have accumulated. I know the Pacific is not going to be quite as warm as what I've been accustomed to. I'm thinking I'll need more than a shortie. What do you guys wear out there? I'd be interested in any advice or suggestions. Also, I will be in Playa del Carmen New Year's week @ Iberostar Tucan. I hear some questionable things about the resort's dive shop. Any recommendations on an operator in the area would also be really appreciated!

You'll likely need a full 7mm wetsuit, hood, gloves, the works...

Its been awhile since I've dived there, but I'll be there over the Christmas break.

And welcome to So Cal. Lets go Kings!

When you get a chance, you may want to drop a note into the California board, specifically the So Cal section. Lots of SD divers hang out there and can give you the scoop.
