Just found out I will probably be moving to the Omaha area within a month. If anyone can give me the info on the diving in the area it would help.

Diving in the Omaha area consists of driving somewhere else & then diving. One of the dive shops uses a Quarry in Iowa that is about an hour away ( vis varies from 7' to 25'), you can dive there for $10 if they are there. Kearney area sandpits are about 2 1/2 hrs away (shallow dives max 25', vis 10' to 20')ScubaHawk:
I usually head for Missouri or Arkansas. Was @ Ft Randall in SD this past Saturday & vis was less than 10'.
