Soggy:
If you need any weight in that config, you can call me a monkey's uncle....

In fresh water, dry with 400g thinsulate and a SS backplate, I'm WAY overweighted in that configuration.

You also need to seriously reconsider diving double 130s in a 7mm wetsuit. That's just asking for troubles.

Why is this asking for troubles?

Welcome to the world of diving doubles:

First make sure you set your tank bands so that when you wear the dbls that you can reach the valves without a major stretching act and not be head heavy.

You will most likely not need any weight if you are diving dbles w/Al or SS BP. Some divers use weight for trimming only, very few need the extra weight for sinking.

You already stated you have a redundant bladder. So wet or dry this should be fine. I have worn my dbles (120's) in a 3mm wetsuit and had no problems (I use redundant bladder in wetsuits as well)

Work with the dbles in a shallow area at first and get use to their characteristics. One thing that you may consider to try is to see if you can swim the dbles to the surface with NO air in any bladder of a BCD or drysuit. Try this from about 10 ft. Work on changing your positions, head down to head up, roll left, roll right, flat spin in both directions, somersault forward and backwards. You get a better feeling of how to wear those dbles. Good Luck

With that configuration and no added weight I can do my 10' deco hang at the end of a dive with no air in my wing and minimal argon in my suit -- overweighted, nope / don't think so. Just shows you need to get in the pool with your gear and find out what is going to work for you. (btw the tanks are lp's)

Thanks guys, this helps alot. As soon as it warms a bit, I'm off to Gilboa to give it a run.
