Well,... just when I think I might settle down for a while, I go & do it again:dork2:. I'm going to take an Open Water Instructor course this year. I just got my materials so now it's study, read, study, read,........ again. I guess I must love it, because I keep doing it:D. Looks like the course will probably start up some time next month or so. Looks like it's going to be quite a busy year for me.

Good luck Tammy! Will you be able to take that locally or will you travel to something like an Instructor Development Course/Instructor Exam (to use PADI terms)? What agency? I remember you're not PADI, but I can remember if you're NAUI, SSI or SDI?

I am currently SSI (was PADI a couple of years ago- non professional levels). To be honest, I won't have to go anywhere except Evansville. My instructor is both an Instructor Trainer & an Instructor Certifier, so I can do it all right here. I just got my materials the other day & it looks like there will be myself & 2- 3 other gentlemen in the course with me. It looks like we may be starting at the end of his month or the beginning of next. The instructor is going out of town for a couple of weeks on a store sponsored trip & expects to get started when he gets back.
