Anyone has seen the Open Water 2 movie? Yes, 2, not 1.

I just stopped by a video shop. There is the Open Water 2 on the shelf. I didn't pick it up because of the bad memory on the Open Water 1 though.

Please let me know if anyone has seen this....

OMG, they didn't do this, did they? A sequel to a movie that shouldn't have been made in the first place? Well, since it is already on the video shelves and I never heard any publicity about it, I guess they must have realized what a non-theatrical dud they made in the first place and hoped video sales and rentals would generate a profit.
 
Yes I have, and it has nothing to do with diving. It's about a group of people floating in the water unable to re-enter a sailing boat. Avoid!
 
well, apparently it was a German film not released in the US (but shot in English ... boggle)

it was released in the UK last year (2006) and predictably, it bombed

just got released straight to DVD in the US

Chris Kentis (the guy who wrote and directed the original) had nothing to do with this one

Yes, that was my curiosity, too.

I never heard of Open Water 2 running at the theater, but there is DVD on the video shelves...

BTW, the sub title is a "Adrift."

Yeah I saw it on a business trip.... it is good when you are jet lagged and need to fall asleep to synch up.............. boring, stupidity glorified and utterly bad acting.
