Well, if you consider the best dives (in the opinion of wreck divers), not necessarily the most popular, in fact, few can reach some of them, my guess would be:

1 - Andrea Doria (North Atlantic)
2 - Britanic (Greek Ocean)
3 - Carnatic (Red Sea)

Here in Brazil (let me do some markenting...hehe)

1 - Corveta V51 (Fernando de Noronha)
2 - CT Paraiba (Rio de Janeiro)
3 - Vapor dos 48 (Recife)

We have already registered more than 2000 shipwrecks in the Brazilian coast, the site is in portuguese, but you can have a idea in the site Naufrágio, click in the state in the map and main shipwrecks of the state will apear, not all 2000 there, but some very nice, if you click the wreck name you go to the details page.

In terms of place, Chuuk Lagoon for sure. Here in Brazil Recife and Salvador are fantastic for wreck diving.

For a "best in Brazil" list you missed the Camaqua in Recife.

Lusitania for its history and challenge
San Francisco Maru for its beauty
Empress of Ireland cause bits significant and often overlooked
USS Saratoga - cause we cant do it and its the only aircraft carrier
the Doria - even though everyone's done it, its just a must do

There was a thread on this a while back - there are actually 4 - 6 diveable aircraft carriers in the world (depending on what you count as "diveable", and as an aircraft carrier).

You should check out the Mikhail Lermontov, it's about as "conspiracy theory" as a story can get! Plus it's an awesome dive, a cruise liner in only 34m of water that is diveable most every day of the year.

You are testing my memory now, but I think they were:

- USS Saratoga (Bikini)
- USS Oriskany (Florida), which is an artificial reef
- HMS Hermes (Sri Lanka)
- Graf Zeppelin (Poland)

On the 'questionable' list are:

- HMS Hermes (English channel), which may or may not classify as an aircraft carrier
- HMS Dasher (Scotland), which may or may not classify as an aircraft carrier and may or may not class as diveable (it has been dived once, at 465 feet with about 3 feet of viz, and is a war grave)
- HMS Campania (Scotland), which may or may not classify as an aircraft carrier

For divers in NY, NJ and PA, the train wreck in the Delaware Water Gap is also famous.

Other famous local wrecks offering unusual experiences are:

1. The twin locomotives off NJ
2. The Texas Tower off NJ
3. The USS Bass off Long Island
4. The America wreck in the St. Lawrence River
5. The pump house at Dutch Springs

Other famous wreck sites for being unique are:

1. The James Bond movie wrecks off Nassau, Bahamas
2. The U-2513, a German Type XXI U-boat in 210 fsw off Key West
3. The Atocha off Key West you may dive if you become an investor with Treasure Salvors, Inc.
4. The Valhalla missile silo in Texas
5. The B-29 bomber in Lake Meade
