Where can I find info on the river levels and at what level should we stay away from Morrison. This is a 9 hour drive from where we live, so I would like to be able to decide when it's a go/ no go trip.
Thanks, Scot

For river levels and predictions at the nearest river level recorder in Caryville.

4.5' you'll start gaining a bit of visibility(10-15'ish).
3.5'-3' before its starts getting really clear 30'-50'+

Any higher than 5.5' will lose chances of having more than 5-10' of visibility.
6.5-7'+ and you lose the majority of your surface light before you hit the platform.

Morrison will look like a swamp right now, but it'd still clear up at the cavern entrance.

Rent a canoe, dive Cypress.

I always round to the nearest half-foot in my logbook :D Maybe I'll be more specific(anal?) in '06?
