Weather reports warned of possible scattered thunderstorms for today. Clear morning with a sunrise in my eyes while driving East on I-10. The rest of the day was clear as well, only a few clouds in the skies. I arrived at Morrison at ~8:15AM to meet up with SeaYoda, PerroneFord, KchFLA(parents in tow for surface support?), Fry21, and Ottomatic. ClayJar was also onsite for a Rescue Class after being blown out of the Gulf. Jviehe was there teaching a class as well - I believe they were blown out of the Gulf too. Even early, there were qutie a few classes onsite, some in the water already. Water levels were similar to my last dive onsite(Friday before last) at just over a foot on the Hydrolic Chart.

SeaYoda, Perrone, and I would be diving the cavern for a 1/3rd of gas before meeting up with the remaining divers who were staying in OW. The basin above the cavern entrances was a kicked up pretty badly, but we descended past the crap and into the flow of clear, cool spring water gushing from the lower cavern entrance. We spent nearly 20min in the bottom cavern before I signalled an ascent at 1/3rd my starting pressure. Max depth 89'. We ascended to the upper cavern for a bit before meeting up with the OW divers. After exploring the basin a bit, our team swam out into the run for a bit before turning the dive. Total dive time lasted 54minutes in the typical 68F springwater. Visibility varied from 10' and less to over 60' depending on where the classes were.

After a nice, warm surface interval lasting nearly an hour and a half, we said goodbye to Kch, Fry, and Otto(all just diving a single tank today) and headed back into the spring. This would be a shorter dive, mainly taking place in the caverns. We spent another 10 minutes in the lower cavern, 10 min in the upper cavern, and 12 minutes in OW before surfacing. I had a max depth of 86'.

Dives at Morrison are to be concluded at Sally's with greasy food, exceptions are rare. As not to offend the God's we abided and gorged ourselves. Fun!:D

Was a pleasure meeting the new folk (Fry21, Ottomatic, almost met ClayJar), and a treat seeing my old friends again.

Matt hit thirds on his single, at nearly the same time I hit thirds on my doubles. He breathes like a little child. If he ever got a rebreather, he could sleep underwater! This was my first time in the water in nearly a month. I felt off my game pretty badly, but had an enjoyable time as always. Hopefully SeaYoda got some good pics and they aren't too embarrassing! :)

Always a pleasure ya'll... and yea, Sallys post-dive ROCKS!

It's all about Perrone - well, almost :D.

It was great to see old friends and new. I enjoyed the dives today, even without the camera on the second excursion. All the pics today are divers except the one shot of the spring opening in the lower cavern with all the junk in it.

Perrone, I fixed your dive light for you - you can stop taking the benadryl now .

OHMIGOD....

Too much me-ness.

Can you send me the .psd's so I can edit them for myself? Thanks.

obviously the editor dropped the ball, by allowing the "other" shots to be published.....

imagine having corrected that obvious photo error of the BLUE light, and then publishing the faulty one anyways
