I see this stuff everywhere and its supposed to help frizzy hair. Has anyone used it? Salt water makes my hair so bad I have to fight to comb it and I don't want to spend money on this stuff if it's just some gimick and dosen't really work.

My stylist always uses it on my hair when he fixes it. I keep meaning to buy some from him. It really makes my hair look and feel great. I have ultra-fine wavy/frizzy hair.

I love argan oil, I use a great product , it's Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil which protects my hair, makes it stronger and keeps it soft , shiny , frizz less and healthy. :D It really works and revives the hair. If you are interested you can check it out at safrons. com where I bought it. :D Good luck. ^_^ :cool2:

I have used Moroccan Oil for about two years every night, at first it seemed like the ultimate cure for my frizzy wiry hair (half samoan here). But then after a year it seemed to stop working as well... My hair would soak it up like no tomorrow and it would still feel dry.. It would leave my hair with a kind of layer of silicone sitting on top of the hair follicle.. Making it heavy and never feel fresh. Anyway, if you are going to use it, don't rely on it long term. I does wonders if you use it every now and then, but for regular use try treating your hair to a mask once a week.

i use it after diving and it helps but does leave a build up on your hair. I would recommend a good clarifying shampoo after using it (say at the end of a dive vacation, not everday, once a week tops). Coconut oil is also very good for dry hair and doesnt leave the same kind of build up.

I've never noticed any build up on my hair from using the Moroccan Oil. Love the product. Don't use it on or near the roots.

By the way, I'm assured there is no silicone in the Moraccan Oil product that I use. Moroccanoil® Treatment | Moroccanoil This also comes in a "lite" formula but for whatever reason I'm not a fan of the "lite/light".

Using the original Moroccan Hair Oil for years, curly, kinky ethnic hair. I think it's worth the price. Nothing artificial in it, no silicone mixed in like other less expensive brands, so it is absorbed into skin and hair. Use sparingly, rub hands together, smooth over wet or dry hair. Smells great. I also found cuttiing down on shampooing helpful in reducing frizz. I rinse in fresh water or wash with conditioner daily, but use shampoo only once or twice a week. Too drying.

I always pull some of the leave-in condition through my hair whilst dry before I dive. Once Ive pulled it out of the hood afterwards, my hair is lovely. The surfers here do the same.

i've tried a host of detanglers over the years. i have long curly hair that has a life of its own in humid conditions. i started using argan oil about 2 yrs ago. first i used a product called orofluido that smells heavenly and works great but is 2-3x as much as garnier's fructis morroccan oil. for a leave in conditioner/detangler my second choice is their "triple action" spray. don't know if either is available where you live, but here they are <$4 at walmart. can't beat that. i have not found that the more expensive products are any better.
