Regarding a halogen light, is there anything wrong with having the bulb and batteries in the same housing? I figured that having a cable between two seperate housings would be another potential leak point. I would be using it for video and wouldn't have it turned on for more than 20 seconds or so at a time, so I don't think that high temperature would be an issue (or would it?).
