Amanda....I have a C-4040 and I can set it to B/W. You may be able to do the same with your digital camera.

Many digital cameras allow you to do that, I believe. However, you'd probably be better off taking the shots in color and converting them to B/W using an image editing program later. You never know when you'll want to keep the color, so having a color original gives you more options.

Hello,

The great saint ansel adams did not have a viewfinder that displayed black and white. After a while you learn to see in b/w then the true harmony begins.
