Moosehead Lake, Maine

Have heard great things about the place, so a few members of the Mid-Coast Maine Aqua-Nuts dive club are headed up to Moosehead Lake to do some diving for the June weekend of 24-25-26. Want to see the sunken steamboats, maybe dive off Mt. Kineo too. Bringing a boat, camping gear, golf clubs and of course a cooler!

Moosehead Lake is a great place to dive. I have done about 50 dives there over the past four years. Shore diving the steamboats is not allowed, you will have to boat dive those. Mt Kineo is one of my favorite dive spots with a 90 degree 115 foot drop underwater on one half of the mountain. Join our group Moosehead Lake Divers on Facebook for more information.
