Monterey Six Pack Charters

Things were a lot easier when I had an inflatable. They will be again...

However, in the meantime, I am thinking about six pack charters around Monterey. I am very interested in which charters people have used and their experiences.

I have a small herd of divers (4) and it might be nice to just charter the entire boat. Yes, I know I am a couple of divers short but money isn't really the point.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Last year I went out with the Beach Hopper II and had a great time. I went with Capt Nelson and Capt Nelson Not the largest boat so it might be easier to charter the entire thing.

The Beach Hopper has a capacity of 8, and Sanctuary of 6, IIRC. And
Phil Samet charters his RIB. I think the others are a good deal bigger.

Don't forget Dave Todd: he has a very nice inflatable boat which can carry 4 divers or so, plus he has a CG Captain's ticket. MONTEREY BLUE HOME PAGE for more info.

my votes for the double down also!! good boat!! but all of the boats are nice...you cant really go wrong!

The Sanctuary is by far the nicest / biggest six pack out of all the ones mentioned. (I've been on them all except for the inflatables) One day a buddy and I chartered the Sanctuary and it was only him and I on the boat.

THAT was a great boat dive, even with a malfunctioning inflator.

We do two and three tank dives and night dives. We will also do a three tank afternoon/night dive.(2 afternoon & 1 night) I just added a hot water system so those folks diving wetsuits can stay warm enough to get in the third dive.
