Andy has a Memorial Day weekend trip coming up and Barry has the ever popular 4th of July weekend trip. I've been diving on both for the last 3 years. Alway's a good time when Andy's around.
Monterey on the 22nd and 23rd Anyone?

My son and I are going to the Breakwater Saturday morning. ScubaSean is planning to meet us, but since he's returning from China on Friday, he may not be up to diving Sat morning.
I was thinking Kenny (my son) and I could dive by ourselves, early, before the water fills up with tons of divers. We would go out along the wall, turn after a third of our air, and come back along the wall, keeping our depth to a max of 40 to 50...
I feel secure about my skills and with Kenny's, but this is his first cold water dive...
Should we do this by ourselves? or should we wait until we can hook up with another?
I've learned sooooo much from this board and appreciate all the good advice I've read...Just wanted to put this out there and hear your suggestions.

I'll be diving McAbee on saturday morning around 9, just down the road from breakwater, nice easy entry and exit, we're taking a couple of new divers down there, we may have too many to stay together with in one group while underwater, but if you want to try mcabee, i can help you when you get there and show you where to dive...

no prob, actually, if you are interested, i may be looking for someone to dive with memorial weekend, not sure what day, possibly any of them...

How about a dive report? How was it? If your in the Sacramento area shoot me a PM and we can get together to dive in Folsom.... A bunch of us try to get together to train and dive locally... a short dive in the lake is better than not diving at all

Just wanted to give you a dive report on the Memorial Day trip. The weather was perfect, the diving excellent, (some saw a whole family of Bat Rays). Went to Catalina the first day and the next two days were at San Clemente. 4th of July can't come fast enough
