Nice photos Larry! You hardly ever see a Spanish Shawl in the same frame as a ling cod :D but you did it. By the way, what was the water temperature? It has been unusually cold in Morro Bay for this time of year (52-54F).
 
Thanks, guys. Water has been 50-52 lately, although last weekend we had surface temps in the 60's and it was 57 down to about 20 ft, with 52 at 35-40 ft. It's been foggy this week and we're back to the low 50's. One diver posted 47 at 100+ feet in Carmel this weekend. We had 50 today at Pt. Lobos in 50 feet.

Great pics. I am jealous as I was planning to go out in Monterey last weekend, but I am now out with a ruptured achilles.
 
Hope for more fog when you heal. (ouch) As soon as the sun comes out, the green comes back!
