Looking to shore dive from Monterey/Carmel this weekend, and I figure I should probably try to learn the significance of the below sample reports (this is from last week):
SUN ... NE WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT. NW SWELL 8 TO 10 FT.
MON... NE WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT. NW SWELL 5 TO 7 FT.
What would people say is an acceptable range for each of Wind/Wave/Swell? Is there another resource to use other than the reports posted at Aqua Safaris?
Also, for those in the neighborhood, how have things been looking lately?
