Was out yesterday (Thursday 6 July) at the Breakwater about 1800. We just did the wall but the viz was still like 25-30 feet! Surge was pretty mild along there and it was really nice. Closer to shore, the surf was coming in pretty good but underneath, a whole different story. It actually got pretty cold, I registered 49 deg. down at 50 feet.

My buddy had gone out earlier in the day to the Metridium field and said the viz there was also about 25 feet. Just fantastic how the conditions are holding out so well the past week and a half. The weekend looks to be about the same so it's going to be one hella busy and happy time for those coming out for fun and/or learning.

Ya, that's excellent. Was getting so used to the 5 foot viz and just checking things out up very very close!
