Monterey 2010 Meet and Greet

Ok folks, I'd really like to meet you all. I posted a thread proposing the idea and was told to post a new thread with a proposed time and place. So here's what I propose:

When: Saturday 27 February, 2010
Where: Monastery (assuming it's calm), with a backup location of Breakwater (unless a better backup location is chosen).
What: The 2010 meet and greet
Why: because I'd really like to meet you all and dive with you all

WAY to little notice, dude. Most meet-n-greets are planned a month or more in advance. I'll be in Monterey on the 25th & 26th, so there is no way I can stay for the 27th too.

Absolutely! I don't want to be the negative nancy; I'd love to attend a M&G, it's been a while since I've been to one. I'm sure some people probably can and will attend this one.

With that said, a lot of us are out-of-towners who plan our diving schedules well in advance.

I will be at the Breakwater busy that weekend with class. So I am out. Now set something about a month out and then I can probably make it.

I'll be in class too that weekend, but another M&G is great idea and it's cool that your up for coordinating ! Our last M&G was Dec 5th so Spring might be a good timing for the next one?

I helped coordinate the last M&G with more experienced coordinators & we had a nice turnout. Here are a few links from our planning that might be helpful.

Or if you are interested in meeting more dive buddies you could just continue to post in this forum dates that you are free & meet the SB divers one at a time (like Kristina does) 'till the next M&G.
