Chicago area's Larry Boucha Chicago's new Hollywood Star is about to be as famous as those Chatertoon and Coaler guys on the History Channel tonight.

CITIES OF THE UNDERWORLD : MOB UNDERGROUND
Airs on Monday March 17 09:00 PM (Check local listings for time!)
Chicago was once a playground for mobsters and corrupt politicians. It wouldn't be the third largest city in the U.S. today if it weren't for the shady dealings that went on just beneath its streets. From vice dens and top-secret railroad lines to sunken shipwrecks and the spark that created the A-Bomb, host Don Wildman unearths the true history of the Windy City.

Also on Tuesday March 18 01:00 AM, Check local schedule

For all you Chicagoans, let me translate: Larry's gunna be on da cable Mundy.

What a great episode, Larry did a great job with the video. The entire show was very informitive about the "underground" I think it would be cool to get a tour of the actual tunnels, I don't live to far from the Green Mill and Aragon Ball* Room, and always heard about the tunnels growing up on the on the north side. I have also have had mny great memories at both establishments.

I enjoyed it also.
Although the link between "underground" and "underwater" is a little tenious .
I can't blame him, wouldn't we all do the same thing if we could?

A leaky faucet...hmm...that has something to do with water, and we get our water from the lake, I better go out there and check it out...bye

We all heard about those tunnels way back when they poked a hole in one setting a pylon near one of the bridges on the Chicago River years ago. That was the day the city "flooded". My exwife worked down there then. The city came to a stand still. Alot of those tunnels aren't on any drawings. On a side note, I live in Blue Island and have heard of a series of tunnels under old parts of our town from some of the old timers here. One elderly woman told me when she was about 20, the cops were banging on the door of a speakeasy she was in. To alude the police the entire crowd was rushed through a secret doorway and into the tunnel. Ahhh the good ole days.

There was just a show on History channel the other day that showed those tunnels I think it was called Underground Chicago or something like that
