It must be the end of the world, I got 68 on Sunday at the Dania ledges in the middle of the afternoon! :D

I woke up to a brisk 34 in Orlando this morning....and I'm getting wet Sunday. Yikes.

66° on the bottom this morning off Pompano. Air temp at 0600 was 43°.
I can't wait for the water to hit 58°. No crowds then.

66 Degrees!:shocked2: Florida waters are suppossed to be warm???:shakehead:

BURRRRRRR!!!

Glad I bought that tight fitting 7mm Pinnacle Elastoprene Jumpsuit last week!!!:cool2:

I tried it out on the Hydro Atlantic on Sunday, with 71 Degrees on the bottom and 73 Degrees on the deco hang, and it felt warmer than hugging Pamela Anderson's chest throughout the entire dive!!!:D

The water is ok, at least on the first dive. It's that surface interval when it's 50° that begins the process. There were people on the boat from Alaska who were cold, so it was cold. I had on a drysuit and a moderate poopie suit on under it, and during the second dive, I started feeling the cold since I didn't have a hood or neoprene gloves on.
Still, I was down so long that the Coast Guard got called to look for me.
Oh well.

Hmmm...never thought I'd want to have my 7mm in Florida, but those temps would DO it!

As I sit in my Conch House wondering should I move further South:shocked2: OH wait it's the same degrees in Key West:rofl3::rofl3: Dang cold weather is killing me here.

So can we bookmark this thread and refer to it every time an out of state visitor inquires "how cold does it get in Key Largo in the winter and do I need a wetsuit?"

At these temps a wetsuit MIGHT be needed...but at most a 3mil.
