Why would you sell it I said you can make it a o2 reg:confused: You do not have to have all the green on it if you do not want it. But when you by the kit for thr 1st stage it come with the colors.

You said "Yes to all your questions".

The last part of my last question was "and/or if I should just sell it and buy a new one. "

I understand from your reply that it CAN be changed. I guess my question is "is it cheaper to modify it to DIN/O2 than to sell it and buy a new DIN/O2 version".

The O2 cleaning part is easy and cheap. Since there are so few o-rings in the MK2, and no dynamic o-rings subject to HP air, it's a good design for O2 service. Viton o-rings are not reputed to be very extrusion or abrasion resistant. There's no diaphragm to worry about, actually very little inside the reg that's combustible. The R190 kit (I don't know anything about the 295 but I bet it's the same) is a seat, a nylock nut, and a hose o-ring. The DIN fitting is probably around $40, you might be able to find one used.

You do not have to service the r190 or r295 for o2 it is a low pressure uint. They do take the same kits. There are alike inside.
