Practice:
- Holding line-free deco stops with the gear required for the course
- Neutral buoyancy while performing various emergency drills
- Getting to know your gear inside/out without looking at it (e.g., reel operation, etc.)
- Diving at optimal loop volume
Note, for the best results practice in the environment where you're going to take the course. If you're cold water diver, use warm water gear. If you're warm water diver, use cold water get and get used to thicker gloves.
