I'll be heading out to Ventura at about 3pm as long as I don't get any bombs dropped on me at work.

You can board after 6pm.

Some of us are getting together for dinner tonight, but I have no idea what time that will be since we're all up in the air about what time we'll be getting there.

You've got my cell number, so if you decide to come up call me and I'll let you know what we're up to.

That goes for anyone else too. If you want to call but don't have my celll number just ask someone to PM it to you. Lots of people have it, but I don't like to post it on a public board for all of the solicitors, etc. to get ahold of it.

I'm looking forward to this! My first dives in my shiny used (well it's new to me) drysuit.

I ought to be pretty easy to spot 6' tall with a long pony tail and a big grin.

I can't decide if I should leave this evening or just get up real early for the drive from Costa Mesa, probably this evening, but even I won't know until I am suddenly on the road.

Susan,

Too bad you had to cancel, the condsitions were great. Almost no swell or wave action, which meant that the surge even when shallow was quite manageable. Vis was in the 10 to 35 foot range depending on variables like the number of students in the immediate area and natural environmental factors.

It was a pleasure diving with many of the others who were there, now I am looking forward to the Wrinkles dive at Casino Point!

It was great to see you all for another fantastic day of diving and "dinner fun" Friday night at the Macaroni Grill and Saturday night at the California Pizza Kitchen.

Conditions were very nice and the food on the Spectre was pretty tasty!

I too must say that it was a pleasure meeting and diving with everyone. I had been diving in Florida all week and finally made it out to CA. I have wanted to dive there for quite some time and now I know why, it was awesome. Thanks for everyone making me feel welcome:

The diving off Anacapa Island at reefs Cathedral Cove, Underwater Arch, West Channels, and Underwater Island (sat this one out as I had to fly the next day) exceeded my expectations. For those of you that missed this one, you missed some great diving and fantastic people. I am looking forward to coming back again very soon.
