ChrisM:
I'm in. See ya Staurday, can't make Mel's dinner, unfortunately......
Wow! 'Way cool.

I'll be coming by Buster's to quaff a soda and pay my respects to Melvin, though due to my usual shabu-shabu-sliced family sked, can't stay for the sitdown eats ...

Looks like a really fun group for this dive! Hey I'm kinda used to diving in 80 degree water now after being in Roatan, Coz and Belize last week, so could you guys pray for some kind of freak El Nino current or something for this weekend! Oh BTW, I took some pictures if you want to see 'em. They are here.

I got off the phone a little while ago and am now looking forward to seeing all of you Saturday. I've RSVPed for dinner too, of course.

My long hosed reg set SHOULD be in by then (or so they tell me at the shop...) so I'll probably be asking some questions as I work out the specifics of wrapping myself up for the first time.

Trying to figure out how to make Saturday arrive sooner,

Adam

Very good news... One step at a time. I'm fired up for you.

My Vytec is still showing me at 422 FSW... unreal. I can't believe this this is dying. I have a Oceanic Prodigy I'll likely be diving on this trip. Fun Fun.

See you guys there!

OK, OK, sucking it up, HBDryGlove'WarmNComfyDrySuitGirl! :10: I'll save it for the whine and cheeze forum next time! Speaking of real divers, the DMs I dealt with on the trip commented on what great divers we were. I think they've had some bad experiences with families. We were all certified in 7mm's in 58F water. Our bouyancy and SAC rates were always among the best in the group. So Cal rocks!!!

OK hijack over - looking forward to this dive!!

I recall worrying about how we'd ever be able to get back into SoCal water after our newbie trip to Belize 4 years ago. I haven't skipped a beat but it did impact my honey. You'll be fine wetrat, but I think Rat Momma's local diving days are numbered.

You are so right Kelphelper! After coming back from Hawaii as 20 dive newbies, it was one trip to the Coronados and out for rat Momma! She gave it another try over Christmas break and now I'm afraid she's gonna stick to tennis! :11doh:
