I have a MK10+ yoke that I want to change to DIN. What parts do I need to do this and where to get?
Thanks

Either the older MK 10 DIN kit (the metal wheel is nice) or the current universal DIN kit. It comes with the DIN wheel, DIN retainer, insert to retain the o-ring and filter, a filter and a spring to keep the filter from moving inside the retainer.

Are there any special tools that will be needed?

Torque wrench with allen wrench fittings. The older MK10 retainer (at least the ones I have) don't have a separate filter retainer. For those the filter fits under a metal bushing on the 1st stage end of the fitting. The newer style has separate filter retainer on the tank end, with a small allen fitting, I think 4mm. Inside of that is the larger (6mm?) fitting to torque the DIN retainer. The old style just has the 6mm fitting.

That one will work just fine.

Will the yoke nut be 1" or 26mm and will I need the special socket to remove it or will something else work?

The yoke nut is 1".
If it's removal only, you don't need the special nut: just clamp it in a vise and turn the body. Alternatively, an oversized adjustable wrench will work, with some risk.

Thanks for all the help, but I have to ask. Why are some of the parts metric and others imperial units? It is as bad as my truck!
