I’d love to restore a DW Mistral. Anyone have a source for silicone main diaphragms? I can’t seem to find one :(

Looks like all the usual suppliers are out.... I hope production starts again!

Let's hope this time they get the measurements right

When I was working on mine, I wasn’t sure how old it was and it looked ok, so I slathered it with latex seal protectant and let it sit. It came out feeling pretty supple. It won’t repair cracking, but it may extend the life of the one you have if a replacement isn’t an option.

I don't know how I missed that when I looked. The Scuba Museum is a great resource... And good people!

Respectfully,

James

I am taking mine to a pool session on Sunday. I used it once last year and then had a free flow a couple of weeks later. I bought a rebuild kit from VDH to do a more thorough job of and finally found the problem. Looking forward to seeing how it breaths now. I replaced the straps so mid-60s back pack can be adjusted properly.
