First off let me extend my deepest sympathy to the families.

"Divers likely won't avoid the area forever, so hopefully they will find some better way to inform divers about imminent changes. Someone on Ontario Diving suggested that current conditions/expected changes could be posted on their website and of course, prominent timely warning signs should be posted at the usual entries when work is planned."

Why would we need better ways to warn divers of imminent changes?
Why do we need web sites, or signs with conditions/expected changes?
Why do we need timely warning signs?
Who is going to up date the website, monitor the conditions or up date the timely warning signs?
The area is already clearly marked with no swimming or diving signs and that at least to me means don’t swim or dive there.
