Missing "Purge Valve" from Snorkel (lol)

Hello fellow OFWF ...

I seem to have lost a "purge valve" from my snorkel ...

Lost in or around the GASKIN on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. It was there one moment and gone the next.

The darn snorkel is useless without it. If you find it, please return it to the undersigned.

After much thought and consideration, I probably swallowed it and it too shall pass in time. (lol) Please ignore this silly message.

You could always put duct tape over the end...

Duct tape, or electrical tape both work.

Or get a snorkel without a purge valve.

That's if you still need a snorkel to dive.

Personally, when I'm underwater I find a snorkel doesn't do me too much good.......I use mine only for underwater hockey.

If it moves and it's not suppose to ---> DUCT TAPE

If it doesn't move and it's suppose to ---> WD40

You don't need a snorkel for SCUBA, but they are very handy when free diving. I want mine without a purge.

I thought a snorkle was what attaches the Beer Helmet (doubles) to the mouth. After about 18, you need the purge valve...
