What are the temperatures and conditions like in October? I am coming down for a holiday and I am keen on getting some diving in.

Depends on which side of the Peninsula is diveable when you're here. If it's False Bay it should be around 13 or maybe a bit more , if it's the Atlantic it'll be around 11 or less. Conditions have been very unpredictable lately - I mean like SE wind in winter - give us a break !!!

Haven't been back in the water since I got back from the Red Sea a few weeks ago where it was 30 deg C !!!!! I'm sure you can understand why .

Maybe the Two Oceans Aquarium is a better idea. Sheesh.
