We have yet to be recognized as a necessity, which would require financial support and OJT. They always end up calling me and the three other rec. divers 2 or 3 times a year to find that missing body. After recovering two bodies in 2004 we were offered fre air from the station compressor. bigjetdriver got wind of my dilemma and contacted me about a possible solution, I am still trying to get the officers interested. Small town politics are heck.
