Minimum Diving Weight

I actually carry a couple or three more pounds than I would ideally need. I shoot large DSMB's from the bottom and want them to stand up during my entire accent. Particularly during the safety stop where being "neutral", would leave my marker laying flat.

I do literally "hang" during my stop.

I know lots of people diving drysuits who carry several kilos more lead than the minimum they could get away with so that they can remain warm during deco stops. But that is going beyond "basic scuba discussions".

That's the exception, keeping a little air (I mean "GAS") sorry, in your drysuit to avoid getting shrink wrapped and to maintain a little loft in the undies.
