Meg's sailboat (at least I think that's the one) is off the left wing of the Cessna abnout 20 feet out and slightly aft of the extended wingspan. Depth is probably 60'ish. If the roto-tillers have not been there yet that day, you can see it from the left wingtip of the plane.
If you then go 20 ft to starboard off the boat, there is an old car just over the drop off. At about 4 o'clock relative to the direction the car is drivng, maybe 10-15' away, is one of the plane's flowler style flaps.
If you follow that little ridge the boat is on, the general direction takes you back to the wall, turn right at the wall and you can follow it back around to beach 2.
The plane is marked on the surface but is also connected to the northern most platform with a rope leading off one corner to the nose of the plane.
The first thermocline is fairly sharp and is at about 25 ft. The drop is more gradual below that. 40 ft is chilly but do-able in a 5mm wet suit or a 3mm for short periods. 60 or so is cold and it is still 46 or so at the bottom.
The items along the western side of the pond tend to be shallower in the 30 ft range. Some are not marked others are not.
The line more or less off the right wingtip of the plane is the deep line that goes 400' or so to the camper. It was recently marked with a cookie so it is easier to find and unmistakeable when you find it. The whole line is at 85 or so so it is cold.
The line off the tail goes to what I think is called the deep cruiser. It's the best "wreck" in the lake. The line can be hard to spot at times as it is basically the same color as the bottom and ends up down in the mud in places. It takes a hard left just before the wreck and the bow of the wreck more or less looms above you. If you stir things up the line could be hard to spot for the trip back so note the position of the fallen bow rail relative to the line and you can key on that to locate the line in low viz. Some moron has been running extra fixed lines in the area and he or she does not know $$$$ about line placement as at least one of them runs above the level of the main line to the deck level of the wreck and in low viz a diver coudl swim into it. I think the plan was to remove the non authorized lines, but none the less be aware to avoid any potential entanglement.
