Is Assault Trooper like your southern neighbors Airborne?

Spear fishing with SCUBA gear?! Punch yourself!

An assault trooper is a specialist in a reconnaissance squadron. It combines recon patrolling, demolitions, anti-tank, engineer capabilities and ability for airborne deployment......so, ya, kinda. Lol.

Where did you fly out of? I was a C-5 Flight Engineer at Dover from 83 - 96. I was assigned to the 9th, 31th and the 3rd for a short time (one week).

Let's see....

Dover (9th MAS/AS/ALS/AS-- make up your freakin' mind AF!) from Jun '90 - Feb '95.
Travis (615th AMCS/21st AS) from Feb '95 - Feb '97.
Travis (312th AS- Reserves) from Feb '97 - Oct '14.

Started off right out of UPT as a basic copilot on the jet and eventually ended up as a flight examiner.

Damn, I really should've gotten certified while I was at K-Bay instead of waiting until now.
