Miflex on stage bottles?

I'm just about to order miflex hoses for my inflator and my backup reg on my doubles, since those hoses get kinked pretty badly coming off the first stages. But I was wondering if ordering a miflex for my stage reg would make it much more comfortable for putting it around your head, compared to the standard rubber hose. Anyone have experience with this?

I would think if you only make a small loop to jam under the bands that you wouldn't notice a difference. Now if you had a big floppy loop.....you would be asking for viagra for hoses
