Miflex hose on B2

I purchased Miflex hose along with the Atomic Jam Nut. I removed the swivel hose, removed the o-ring on the 2nd stage nipple, screwed on the jam nut, then the hose. The hose tightens up against the jam nut, but it feels pretty loose. I don't have a tank to pressure test, but will get it serviced before I use it. Is this loose fit normal? I know there is an o-ring on the hose, so it may be sealing fine.

Do you mean that you are still able to turn the second stage?

Yes I can turn it, and slide it in and out maybe 1/16"

The SS is supposed to be "free" to turn 360 around the hose. I'd test it on a full Tank first. Best to take it to your LDS and have them make sure that all is OK. What you are describing sounds normal and is how it is supposed to work but it is always best to test it and have a professional make sure all is OK in person and not online before you dive with it.

I have the same w/ Miflex hoses and both M1 regs. Everything works fine.
