Hello all,
It's over 150 miles from my house to any amount of water, but I just finished my open water and can't wait to breath under water some more!! Thanks for all the info!!

Welcome!!

Howdy and welcome. You're closer than I am.

Well DandyDon, I'm 2 kilometers high in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, 1000 miles from the nearest salt water- but I still get there. When I can't , we have our reservoirs and lakes here in which we can dive (without ice diving, about 7 months of the year. Divers are everywhere, not just on or near the coast! So, heywoz, welcome to diving- dive all your can!

Heywoz....

Nice to see a fellow Arizonian. I love living in the desert. We've got some great diving not too far away. San Carlos, MX, a fabulous liveaboard (Rocio Del Mar) that leaves out of rocky point, MX and the Channel Islands in CA. Congrats on your open water certification!!!
