Getting to Bonaire can be a royal pain in the backside not to mention expensive but, it is worth it when you think about the freedom to dive when you want and how you want.

Hopefully the additional flight out of Ft. Lauderdale will ease some of the pain getting to Bonaire from the US.

It still hasnt been released yet the DOT has to put their stamp of approval on it before it can really be out as to who and the details. We are all still waiting for the release of the flight to start out of Miami

Gotcha... thanks. I'm really curious to see who it is. I wonder if it will be one of the "little guys"?

I have a deal for you...how about 7nights/ unlimited shore diving /airfare/truck/breakfast/1- 2tk dive on the wild side plus some other stuff for $1150pp? I am putting together a Scubaboard meet and dive trip, look for the the announcement soon.
Gawd, this sounds interesting. We have been looking for a new place to try, as we have been alternating between Cozumel and the Bahamas on our semi-annual trips, but the logistics of Bonaire have been just too daunting so far. (We live in Minnesota, which makes things even worse-oh well, no hurricanes [so far :11: ]) We would sure be interested in something along about March or so. We're heading back to the Bahamas in about a month (the Juliet is waiting for us in Miami :D ) but it never hurts to think ahead. Keep us posted on developments.... Woody

If you could make it in early Feb, we would sure love to have you along. Here is a link to the trip with most all of the details.

This might just work. Do you have any details on the flight times in and out of Fort Lauderdale, so that I can work on connections from up here in the frozen northland? :07:

the last I heard, leave FLL at 1:00pm arrive Bon 4:40, return leaves Bon at 5:40pm and arrives FLL at 7:30pm all local times

Those are great flight times!! They give you the opportunity to dive later in your vacation than American.

Sorry this took so long, but we have been up to our ankles in alligators around here. It seems that our trip on the Juliet just went up in smoke, and we have been scrambling to try and salvage something out of this mess. Unfortunately, all the people who can help us with this have just left on trips, and I must wait for Oct. 12 before I can get any real answers. I am hoping to switch my airfare to your Feb. trip, but I can't move untill I hear from them. :shakehead I will talk to you as soon as I get more info. Woody
