I have a Draeger rebreather steel tank that needs hydro but since it has metric threads my usual hydro guy can't do it. Is there an adapter or does someone typically deal with metric, preferably in western Canada

cheers,

I've run into this before, we just have a machine shop turn out an adapter. It is just a piece of SS pipe with 3/4 female on one end and the needed thread (male) on the other. Throw on a couple of o-rings and snug it down.

Does the tank have a TC marking (if made after 93)? If not it cannot be hydro'd anyway. I'm asking because it is a German system.
