Previously our agency has used the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II with success. Looking to purchase an additional one I reached out and was informed that they discontinued that item. Their newest model is the Vortex VX9 and I am told it has a max depth of 16 feet. Can anyone suggest another option?

Thank you!

Minelab excalibur II has an excellent reputation as a diving detector. I own 3, each configured for a specific application.

The XP DEUS II has a rating of 66ft....Bone conduction headphones which are a game changer under water. I have used the Excalibur too....What type of diving detecting are you doing? Here is a video of the Deus II in action...I test , teach and review Metal Detectors for companies.

I haven't started diving with an MD yet, but I own a Deus 2 and use it on land. I've also had a minelab etrac and other detectors of course, and the deus 2 puts everything else to shame.

It puts everything else to shame under water too...I own detectors from Nokta, Minelab and Xp...The Deus II and the Minelab Manticore are the best two land machines made at this time. The Deus II is the best underwater detector made at this time. I have spent many hours testing metal detectors and helping companies test beta software versions....Nokta has the best performance bang for your buck.
BTW I tested the Garrett Vortex the OP spoke of in his post.....

Do you have a youtube channel as well? If so I think I'm a subscriber. I'm in wisconsin and I feel like its pulling teeth to get permissions anymore. I took last year off completely out of frustration.
