Hi ortoman! Welcome to ScubaBoard!
I only traveled in Turkey once, many years ago, but I've heard a bit about some of the diving there. Tell us about it - I'm sure many folks will be very interested as we don't hear an awful lot about Mediterranean sites. Hey - why don't you start a descriptive thread in the Europe forum:

don Hi everyone. here is some general info about my country :
- we dont eat ham.. I usually prefer turkey hehehe
- climate is cold in winters and dive schools usually dont work, but I dived in Bodrum city on January 19th. Water temp was 18 celcisus, and may someone help me converting to F' ?. in summers, u can dive without dive suit.
-usual diving season is from May to Oct.
-west and southwest regions of Turkey has a lot of high quality dive centers, and have all gear for u.
-Not as rich as Sharm or Hurghada of Egypt, but u can enjoy visiting here

yikes... thats still about 64°F .... you are certainly braver than men
