While looking for Christmas cards from family and friends in today's mail I got a surprise -- the latest issue of Shark Diver Magazine (Sharks - Shark Diving - Shark Diver Magazine - everything you want to learn about sharks - great white sharks - tiger sharks - whale sharks - bull sharks - pictures of sharks), complete with an article I wrote on an Oceanic Whitetip Shark trip in the Bahamas this past May sponsored by Wetpixel (Wetpixel.com :: Underwater Photography and Videography) aboard Jim Abernethy's Shear Water (Bahamas & Palm Beach Scuba Diving :: Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures).

Congratulations, Doug! I assume the article is in Volume 18, so those of us who're looking at it on line will simply have to wait a bit.

Any of your articles is always a pleasure, both from the writing and from the spectacular photography . . . and don't start about better pictures without bubbles!

Merry Christmas, and again, congrats.

Actually it's from Issue 19 (whale shark on the cover). Almost all the diving was done drifting along at about 15 fsw so I didn't even bring the rebreather! (Don't tell anyone over at Rebreatherworld!)

Excellent, Doug! Pics look amazing and I love the first teaser sentence ("...don't they eat people?).

Merry Christmas!

Great job Doug. I always enjoy your photos & writings.

 Congratulations Doug. That is awesome.

I know the print is too small to read the article, but two passengers came on the trip not for the oceanic whitetips, but for the swimming pigs!!!!
