Merry Christmas Everyone! Just finished hosting Christmas at my house for the first time and did my first turkey. All went well I'm happy to say! Gotta go clean up now while hubby naps off the big meal.

Merry Christmas everyone. I did the traditional Christmas dinner last night. Oyster stew and plum pudding. Both old family recipes. The plum pudding is from my Great Great Grandfather from Scotland. And we pulled the cork on an old bottle of Ardbeg single malt.

And Santa was good to us this morning. I got an underwater video camera. Yeeehaah!

Merry Christmas to all!!

Had to clean up and get ready to do it all over again Sunday for my husband's family. Well, not all of it. I'm ordering out for them. I just wanted to cook for my dad since he's been diagosed with stage 3 lung cancer and we don't know how many more Christmases we'll have him for. Of course I may be stuck with it now because Mom is trying to hand me the reins to do all the family holiday meals from now on. Oh no! What have I done?:shocked2:

Sorry to hear about your Dad Pam. I'm having another family gathering tomorrow also so I suppose I am going to have to do those dishes...:depressed:
